✅  Overview

Join our mission to empower communities through language education. We are looking for passionate, patient, and reliable instructors to teach English (Communicate Plus) or Spanish (Hablemos En Línea) online.

 

You’ll use Pearson educational materials to help adult learners improve their communication skills for work, life, and citizenship. Classes are small — usually 1 to 5 students — and delivered live on Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

✅  Key Responsibilities

• Lead as many online sessions you can per week

• Use our digital books and lesson guides

• Prepare a short presentation or activity for class

• Create a welcoming, respectful environment

• Encourage students to speak, listen, and ask questions

• Report class attendance and basic notes after each session

✅  Qualifications

• Fluent in the language you want to teach (English or Spanish)

• Reliable internet and quiet teaching space

• Basic knowledge of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Slides

• Passion for helping immigrant and adult learners

• Bilingual (English–Spanish) is a plus

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is a plus — but not required

✅  Compensation

• Part-time, hourly wage based on experience
